Published article count was 16 in February, from 17 in January. Published comments were 820 in February, from 748 in January. Unique visitor count at 21,000 was 25% up on January (and on February last year), though not quite back up to the 25,000 average for the back half of last year.

We didn’t publish 25 abusive, content-free or incomprehensible comments in February: total comments intended for publication and not published: 25/845=3%. Around half of those were accounted for by Eliot Ramsey before Fiona banned him on 11 Feb.

Finances

Cash income in February was $65 in donations and $136.89 from Google Adsense: total $201.89, versus expenditure of $13 for bank fees. Cash in the bank at end February was $2,328.67. February ad revenue was only US$18 - the heady days of pollies and the commentariat paying $3-4 a pop for your clicks during the election are sadly long passed.
